Yeah, we did the security updates because the Google fonts we had were unsafe and making the board insecure. I get it on both PC and Mac, so it's an overall thing.

The recommendation is not to load them at all because they are what's causing the problem. If there are some fonts in certain schemes that are bothering you, let us know and we'll see what we can do about those. Otherwise, load unsafe scripts at your own risk and peril. XD

Basically this year most countries changed their data laws (certainly most EU ones) so most browsers have changed how we can access safe content. Our SSL certificate shows we are safe but using outside content such as google fonts and even links give us the i rather than the lock symbol. We are safe to use just don’t load the additional content because what chrome or which ever browser you use is saying you can use this content but we can’t be sure it’s not phishing. Ultimately the https is supposed to protect us more against cyber attacks. I know it’s silly as we’re just a RP board but some members were unable to load any content properly without the SSL certificates.

We will see what we can do about the fonts - I’m assuming for most people it’s the main content font not say your usernames along the left hand side or now in the main menu?

For me it's the main font across all schemes that has changed to quite a chunky font that I'm not a fan of, but that's probably me being nit-picky :p

I'm just wondering - on my phone it doesn't show up as https:// and if I do add that to the url, it disappears as soon as I go to a different page (i.e. I type https:// for the main page, then I click 'view new posts' and it disappears and is back to simply www...). I should add that I have quite an outdated phone, but I did do the latest Chrome app update that it would let me do.

Yeah the main font is the one I meant. I’m not sure why so I will look into it. As for the https I don’t know why your phone is taking you away from that! I’ve not had any problems but then I use safari on my iPhone

I just submitted a bio for The Reckoning and I noticed that in the preview, the relationship status is showing the star sign.

It does seem to have come through on our system okay, so that's very weird! We'll make note of it though in case it is a thing.

I'm struggling to re-upload Cecelia's images. They didn't show up after the alias change, so I deleted them to start over, but now there's no option to upload the images.

Give us 5 minutes. There is a known glitch that turns off images after editing a bio. We’ll reactivate it as soon as we get onto a laptop!

This is probably an issue with this laptop, but I don't really know what to do about it: every time I open WiB, I have to log in again - but the box that says 'remember me' is checked. I didn't have this problem on my own laptop or on my phone. Any ideas?

I've not had that issue myself but I shall see if there is anything we need to do. Maybe try clearing your cookies and sign in again?

How far back should I go? Clearing them for the last hour didn't do anything.

If that hasn't worked it might not. When I have scheme issues (sometimes the schemes kept resetting or changing) I had to wipe all the cookies to fix it.

I have a friend that was trying to register but it wasn't completing it because it told her she didn't do the image verification, but no image showed up. I logged out and tried to register for her to see if it was her computer, but it didn't work for me either. It looks like it could be the coding on the default scheme maybe messing up the image verification section, but I'm not sure.
