I don't know if maybe it does say this somewhere and I just missed it but: how many lines of text can your signature be?

There is in fact no specific rule about how many lines of text though, only that it should be 250px high including text. Amy's flashing around four lines these days, and you could probably get away with a couple more, depending on your font size.

Hmm... If I select the text and click 'inspect', it says less than 200px but I don't know how accurate that is. Is this okay or is it too much?

So in the fireplace section, I was wondering if you could change where it says 'American Dreams' on the outside to 'Any Game' on my post 'Whenever, Wherever....' please. I'm not sure how to change it and want to recycle the thread and use it for all game requests.

I posted a thread for residence for a group of us in the Prague game and it auto-merges posts after that because I am the thread creator. Is there a way to turn that off? I know it's meant to detract from double posts but I wanted to start a scene in the thread.

ETA: Sandra aka Wild Love told me I need to wait 30 min before I can post. I understand that rule. I wish there was a way to turn it off for thread creators though!

You can just ask an admin or mod who’s online to change the time. I’ll do that now for you.

The hack doesn’t read it as a thread starter and subsequent post but as spam which is why we have the hack. We can always reduce the time if it’s a common issue for everyone. The other way around it is to get someone else to post the thread so that you can reply. Post owners can always be changed.

The board keeps changing back to the default scheme whenever I refresh the page or click on something. I just want to stay on Love Simon, darnit. XD Any guesses why it does this?

I'm thinking of maybe having a set from the new Downton Abbey film but wondered if I would need to wait a little longer because of potential spoilers, or could I have one now. I don't mind if you want me to wait, and I've no idea if there is a rule about this here. But I wanted to check anyway.

As long as the set isn't too spoilery it shouldn't matter. In case there are those who want to see the movie, it would make sense to wait if it's going to give away anything from the movie.

At the moment I'm having trouble finding decent gifs and stuff from it, so I might wait a little bit. But I don't think it'll be too spoilery. I'm cool to wait though.

Regarding the 'game' competition thing, I have a couple questions but wasn't sure if I was allowed to ask in that thread or not.

1. How detailed do the game ideas have to be when we send it in, and can it be based off of a book/film.
2. If we decide to do one of the other prizes/options instead, if we don't more then once, we only get one prize right.

1) As detailed as you want, because we can certainly help flesh out ideas if needed. And it can be based on a book or film, though ideally, it would be something that people who haven't seen or read it can jump into if they want.

2) Every £2 donation you give to the board gives you 1 entry. So, if you donate £10, you'll get 5 entries.

And just adding onto that, regardless how many entries you get, it'll still be only one prize. More entries just bumps up your chances of winning!

The larger size avs are for staff. :) For members it's 225x325.

The header image doesn't seem to be showing up on the Julie and the Phantoms scheme on my end. Not sure if its just me or if this is the same for anyone else.
